SenzafineWhat glorious light, wisdom without bound,
Wrapped in eternal solitary shade.
The impenetrable gloom of light intense,
Impervious, inaccessible, immense.

Circles of life, of time-
Of energy, addiction, and dreams,
Phases of the night sky, bella luna,
In her sweet accepting light-
To what is endless, and what is
Heinous, misconstrued, beautiful.

Some deviate-
Led underground, into a world of lechery and music,
Salacious sin, devil's kin,
Poetry and wine.

We come from the stars' cosmic nature,
Now we're destroying the future.

Or, some kneel rigidly, behind confession walls
Spotted by shards of light,
Chain linked, scattered,

Rooftops70's girl.
Chakra open and white
Like a Buddhist achieving Nirvana.
(Smells like teen spirit.)
Blond tresses fall down in waves
And loose braids, lazily strumming guitars
With names like Trevor and Sadie.
Rapunzel, princess of the wooden tower,
With gentle arms, we fall together,
Whose pale skin is slick of damp sweat
Underneath a tent of our woolen blanket,
Scarlet,
Misty eyed,
Monday morning,
When the sun rises on rooftops,
And the dawn crow cries-

Together,
Side by side,
We watch the waking world.

OnlySweet juice dribbles from our lips
From the strawberries we smush into jam-
Eight crates left this morning by the cellar door.
We talk of liberation
And stories of the past-
Bicycles and lake swimming-
If only.
What would we do?
The first day out?
A long, uninterrupted bath.
Heavenly chocolate cake.
To roam the streets without being asked
Where you are going.
We talk of the German wolf-
And his grip on Amsterdam in snarling jaws.
Here, where we are hot and cramped,
Tucked away,
We hear only bells
And bombs
And sirens.

Mr. Harvey's Flower BoxShe's in the carnations,
Blooming in his bare hand
Red as fruit punch and springing alive
From wrinkled deadness-
And he remembers
The clinking of her bicycle chain
And snapping Kodak,
Click, click, click,
Moment by moment,
Before they're gone.

Guardian AngelEvery day, so many people say goodbye
Never knowing when it's the last time they'll say it.
Sometimes, the only words unspoken
Are the words you want to say.

Every day, you don't know the lives you touch,
How the smallest actions can go so far.

Sometimes, it takes death
To realize worth.

But, we are all worth
So much
In our own ways.

You don't know who in heaven is watching you,
Who is winged and guiding on your shoulder.
But those who are gone don't know
Who think of them, still in bed, unable to sleep.

Once you're gone
You can't hear those words.
Words unsaid.
Everything in your universe is stopped.

The rest of us keep o

DaysMy mind can be my solace.
But I will not live in a fishbowl-
Amongst colorful pebbles and fake flowers,
Globed and distorting the world around me.

For days I longed to fall asleep
In rolling emerald hills, fluffy clouds,
And splashed tie dyed sunsets.
I longed to get away.

They say time heals everything,
And I want to go to sleep.

The world reflects around me,
Where people can slam doors and throw wine glasses,
Scream and cry, watch their loved ones die.

As for now-
I live happily in my sphere,
My own still world,
Swimming lazily in circles,
Happy to go nowhere.
